OPHIOCORDYCEPS - Anthropocene CD

Anthropocene is the third album by Ophiocordyceps, a brutal slam band from northern Italy. This album was recorded in an even lower and more aggressive tonality than the first and second album, both from the point of view of the choice of voice and the execution of the riffs, which despite being direct, always maintain (as per Ophiocordyceps tradition) a polyrhythmic structure. The anxious atmosphere that is created during the listening best expresses the profound discomfort that human action causes with its mere existence to the entire ecosystem of which it feels its master. The title of the album is born from this concept. Recommended for fans of brutal slam and deathgrind.
